A "street teaching" initiative launched as a pop up museum and designed for the classic Brooklyn neighborhood street fairs. Supported by the Midwood Development Corporation with an Avenue NYC Grant from the NYC Small Business Services, the "Midwood Before Hollywood Pop Up Museum" popped up first at the 2016 "Amazing Midwood: Movie & Family Fun Night" and again in 2017. The Flatbush Development Corporation also supported the Pop-up museum at the 2017 and 2018 "Summer on Cortelyou" fairs, as well as at their annual "Flatbush Frolics"
